Pinch Bottom Sewn Open-Mouth (PBSOM)
For some customer’s unique needs, Commercial Packaging also offers a product that combines features of both the sewn and the pinch bottom open mouth style bags.
The one end is flush cut and factory sewn (often times with the addition of a handle), whereas the other end is stepped, and left open for filling. Once the bag has been filled with product, the customer is able to seal or ‘pinch’ the bag by reactivating the adhesive, which was applied at factory level.
The overall style of this bag allows the end user to easily open the bag. And the addition of a handle allows the bags to be carried, with little effort, after it is filled.

Sad, but true, we may not be a good fit for some, and some may not be a good fit for us. With that in mind, please know, that as a custom packaging firm, certain minimum quantities must be respected. The minimum quantity will depend on the particular product. By all means, however, contact us and we'll see what we can do.
